Qatar retain GCC Championship title
 

DUBAI, UAE (GCC Championship 2010): Defending champions Qatar defeated hosts United Arab Emirates 84-71 to win the GCC basketball Championship 2010 at the Al Shbab Club on Sunday.

In the play off for the third place, Bahrain defeated Saudi Arabia 67-55.

The top three teams from the GCC Championship 2010 will earn the right to represent the FIBA Asia Gulf Sub Zone in the 26th FIBA Asia Championship next year.
