First meeting of CABA Central Board unveils Roadmap for the future
 

TASHKENT, Uzbekistan (FIBA Asia Sub Zones): The first meeting of Central Asian Basketball Association Central Board, the newly formed FIBA Asia subzone, was held at the Uzbek capital last Saturday discussed various crucial issues related to the development of basketball in the region and put together a roadmap for the future.

The meeting was attended chaired by CABA President Abay Alpamyssov was attended by representatives of all five member National Federations – Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

The meeting while approving the CABA calendar of events for 2013 also approved the committees for specific areas of development namely: Referees, Youth, Technical and 3x3.

The meeting also initiated the steps to start a CABA Youth League.

The meeting was attended by vice-minister of Sport, Government of Uzbekistan, President of the Uzbek NOC and Adviser to the Ministry of Sport of Uzbekistan.
